Levitra works by restraining phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) into the penis and by soothing it. Once the penis gets relaxed the blood circulation starts to penis and as a result it gets expanded and starts being erected. This pill starts working only when if the person is sexually inspired by himself or his partner like doing foreplay before start doing intercourse. It helps penis a lot to get erected.

Levitra is easily available in medical stores in different doses like (2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg). But before trying it always consult with the doctor and take it as per the given prescription to get better result and to avoid any kind of side effects. Most of the doctor suggests consuming 10 mg pill initially and one tablet should be taken once in a day. There should be a gap of 24 hours in between the usage of two pills of Levitra. The initial dosage can be 5 mg or 2.5 mg or 20 mg depends on the person’s situation. Take a dose of this medicine atleast an hour before sexual activity. It can be taken with or without having food.

If you are not getting results from the dosage of this pill then consult with your doctor and take advice. May be he would change the medicine or the dose (increase or decrease). Common and possible side effects which are usually noticed are stuffy, flushing, runny nose, stomach upset, dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, unclear vision etc. and these side effects are generally found for a short period and lighten up with time and with habit of the pill.

Someone who is having a problem of heart diseases, blood pressure, stroke, liver problem, kidney problems, stomach ulcers, bleeding problem, deformed penis shape, anemia or leukemia should not take this medicine. Very occasionally Levitra can cause a problem called “Priapism”, this is a situation when erection persists for very long period than required and turns as painful. In this case consult a doctor without any delay.
